Privacy Policy
Updated & Effective Date: August 6, 2026
Stray Ahead Digital (“Stray Ahead Digital,” “Stray Ahead,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a division of Tech Audits LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with strayahead.com (the “Site”), our marketing and advertising services, and our communications with you.
By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are and How to Reach Us
Stray Ahead Digital, a division of Tech Audits LLC
7111 Dixie Hwy. #206 Clarkston, MI 48346
Tech Audits LLC is the entity responsible for the personal information described in this Policy (the “controller” or “business” under applicable law).
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy covers information we collect:
- Through the Site, including forms, consultation requests, downloads, chat, and phone or text conversations initiated from the Site;
- In the course of providing services to our clients and prospective clients;
- Through our marketing, advertising, and email communications.
Information we handle on behalf of clients. When we perform SEO, generative search optimization, paid media, reputation management, or other work for a client, we may access personal information held in that client’s systems (for example, their analytics, ad accounts, CRM, or review platforms). In that context we act as a service provider or processor on the client’s behalf and handle that information under our agreement with them and their own privacy policy — not this one. Questions about a client’s data should be directed to that client.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services we link to or that our clients operate.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide to us, including:
- Identifiers and contact details: name, business name, job title, email address, mailing address, telephone and mobile number.
- Commercial and engagement information: the services you’re interested in, budget range, current vendors, website and domain names, and details you share during a consultation.
- Communications content: the substance of emails, contact and consultation form submissions, text messages, chat messages, and voicemails; call notes and, where applicable, call recordings (see Section 6).
- Marketing preferences: your consent choices for email, telephone, and text message contact, and any subsequent opt-outs.
- Account and billing details if you become a client. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Content you submit publicly, such as blog comments, reviews, or testimonials, along with the IP address and browser information used for spam detection.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising partners may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- Device type, operating system, browser type and language;
- Pages viewed, links clicked, scroll depth, time on page, and referring or exit pages;
- Referring URL, search terms, and campaign parameters (UTM tags, click identifiers such as GCLID or FBCLID);
- Date and time of access, and cookie or device identifiers.
We collect this through cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, server logs, and similar technologies. See Section 5.
3.3 Information from other sources
- Advertising and analytics platforms (for example, Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn) that report on campaign performance and audience characteristics;
- Business data and enrichment providers and publicly available sources such as company websites, professional networking profiles, and business directories, which we may use to identify and qualify business prospects;
- Referral partners and clients who introduce you to us;
- Service providers who support our operations, such as our CRM, email platform, form and scheduling tools, and telephone and messaging providers.
3.4 Sensitive personal information
We do not seek to collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or the contents of your private communications with others. Please do not send us this type of information.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct consultations, and provide proposals and quotes;
- Deliver, support, and improve our services, and communicate with clients about their engagements;
- Process transactions, invoice, and collect payment;
- Send administrative messages, service updates, and, where permitted, marketing communications about our services, offers, and content;
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site, including measuring which pages and campaigns perform well;
- Personalize content and the Site experience;
- Measure and optimize our advertising, build and suppress audiences, and serve relevant ads on third-party platforms;
- Perform analytics, research, and reporting for our own business purposes;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and security incidents;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, and comply with legal obligations and enforceable requests.
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
5.1 What we use
- Strictly necessary cookies that make the Site function, maintain security, and remember your privacy choices.
- Analytics cookies and tags that help us understand how the Site is used and how visitors arrive. This may include Google Analytics and comparable tools.
- Advertising and conversion cookies, pixels, and tags from platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, and LinkedIn. These allow us to measure conversions, understand which campaigns generate inquiries, and show you our ads on other sites and apps (often called retargeting or remarketing).
5.2 Your choices
- Browser and device controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and mobile devices offer advertising identifier controls. Blocking cookies may limit some Site features.
- Opt-out of targeted advertising. You may use the opt-out mechanism on the Site (where offered), or the industry tools at the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative, and Your Online Choices for EU visitors.
- Google-specific controls. You can adjust Google’s ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on.
- Global Privacy Control. Where required by law, we honor the Global Privacy Control and similar universal opt-out signals as a request to stop selling or sharing personal information for targeted advertising from the browser that sends the signal.
A note on “sale” and “sharing.” We do not sell personal information for money. However, some state privacy laws define “sale” and “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising” broadly enough that our use of advertising cookies and pixels may qualify. You may opt out at any time using the mechanisms above or by contacting us at sales@strayahead.com. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
6. Email, Telephone, and Text Message Communications
6.1 Email
If you contact us, request a consultation, or subscribe, we may send you emails about our services, offers, and content. Every marketing email includes an option to unsubscribe, and you may also email sales@strayahead.com to be removed. We will still send transactional or service messages related to an active engagement.
6.2 Telephone calls
If you provide a telephone number and consent to be contacted, we and our authorized representatives may call you about your inquiry or our services, including by autodialed or prerecorded means where you have consented to that. Consent to receive marketing calls is not a condition of purchasing any service. You may ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call list at any time by calling (248) 403-8155 or emailing sales@strayahead.com.
Calls to and from us may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance and training purposes; we will notify you at the start of a recorded call.
6.3 Text messages (SMS/MMS)
Where you have opted in, we may send you text messages relating to your inquiry, appointment reminders, service updates, and marketing. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive such messages at the number provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages, except that you may still receive messages related to an active service engagement where separately authorized.
- For help, reply HELP, email sales@strayahead.com, or call (248) 403-8155.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information and consent are never shared or sold. No mobile information, mobile telephone numbers, or text messaging opt-in data or consent will be sold, rented, released, shared, or traded with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information sharing described in this Policy. Mobile numbers may be disclosed only to subcontractors and service providers that support our messaging operations — such as our messaging platform and customer support vendors — and only to help us deliver the messages you asked for. Those providers are prohibited from using the information for any other purpose.
7. How We Share Information
We disclose personal information in the following circumstances. (As stated in Section 6.3, text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the categories below.)
- Service providers and subprocessors. Vendors that perform functions on our behalf, including website hosting, CRM and email marketing, analytics, telephony and messaging, scheduling, e-signature, payment processing, accounting, and cloud storage. They are contractually limited to using the information to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners. As described in Section 5. This may constitute “sharing” or a “sale” under certain state laws, and you may opt out.
- Our parent company. Stray Ahead Digital is a division of Tech Audits LLC. Personal information may be accessible to Tech Audits LLC personnel and systems for the administration of the business, including support, billing, security, and recordkeeping. We do not use consent you give to Stray Ahead Digital to send you marketing on behalf of a different brand.
- Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers, subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms, investigate suspected fraud or security issues, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Tech Audits LLC, our clients, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, including in bankruptcy. Personal information may be among the transferred assets.
- With your direction or consent. For example, when you ask us to share your information with a partner or platform.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as it remains necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. We do not apply a fixed deletion schedule to every category of information. Instead, we determine how long to retain information based on:
- Whether we have an active or prospective business relationship with you, and how recently you have been in contact with us;
- Whether the information is needed to provide, support, or document services we have delivered;
- Our legal, tax, accounting, and contractual recordkeeping obligations;
- Our need to honor your choices — for example, we retain a record of unsubscribe, do-not-call, and text message opt-out requests indefinitely, specifically so that we do not contact you again;
- Our need to retain evidence of the consent you gave us to contact you, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- The retention settings of the analytics and advertising platforms we use, which generally expire identifiers automatically within 14 to 26 months.
Where information is no longer needed for any of these purposes, we delete or de-identify it. You may ask us to delete your personal information at any time — see Section 10 — and we will honor that request unless we are required or permitted by law to retain it.
9. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including TLS/SSL encryption of data in transit, access controls and role-based permissions, multi-factor authentication on business-critical systems, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, contact us immediately at sales@strayahead.com.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. We extend the core rights below to all U.S. residents regardless of state, as a matter of practice.

- Limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by law.
- Non-discrimination. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.

For deletion requests we may ask for additional confirmation. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by an additional 45 days (or as otherwise permitted by your state’s law) with notice to you.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We will require written proof of the agent’s authority and may ask you to verify your identity directly.
